What the website code uses
The current production website code does not set cookies or write visitor activity to local storage or session storage. It contains no advertising trackers, visitor analytics SDKs or session-replay tools.
The interactive example keeps its selected chapter and playback state temporarily in memory. Reloading the page resets that state. Fonts, illustrations and identity assets are served with the site.
Hosting and security
Vercel hosts this website. Its security challenges or protected preview pages may use cookies independently of the page’s code. For example, a protected deployment can set a short-lived authentication nonce cookie during Vercel sign-in. These are not advertising cookies and are separate from the public study example.
There is currently no optional tracking category implemented by the website and no consent setting for one. We have not added a banner that pretends to manage tracking that is not present. If optional tracking is added, the notice and any legally required consent controls must be updated before it runs.
Your browser controls
Your browser lets you inspect, block or delete cookies and site storage. Its help menu explains the available controls. Blocking a hosting platform’s required security cookies may affect access if those features are enabled.
Clearing cookies is different from deleting server logs. The Privacy Policy explains hosting information and how to contact privacy@tryleafen.com about personal-information requests.
Local review tools
A local development build may show an annotation toolbar that saves review notes in that browser’s local storage. It is for website development and is excluded from the production build. It is not a public feedback form.
